In 1989 FWS took over the old, Berlin-based cap factory, Horst Zins. After Berlin became the new German capital, we moved the entire production facilities to a new site in Hartha, Saxony.

Our young team is made up of 20 experienced cap makers and seamstresses. With the aid of state-of-the-art equipment, to say nothing of their own craftsmanship, they make hats and caps not only for our own brands, STANTON and MISTRAL, but also for a number of other top fashion and sportswear brands and of course for STETSON.

Whether classical products made of Scottish cashmere or fashion caps for outdoor pursuits of all kinds made of high-tech textiles, our extraordinarily wide range has enabled our young FWS production team to develop comprehensive know-how and hat-making skills.

Thanks to our cooperation with certain, carefully selected partners abroad who produce under licence to FWS, not even the production of large series constitutes a problem for us.
